State Roads Plan Sets Staub Property Damages
The Frederick County Board of Property Review heard the Staub Thurmont property case tied to the Thurmont by-pass. State estimates ranged from 50 to 450 dollars for damages caused by diverted water and new pipes, while Staub seeks curb, gutter, and erosion protections plus a rebuilt bridge. Staub previously paid 3,500 dollars for the land in 1953. The board will issue an early decision, with more cases set for April 2.
