Middletown school enrollment plans questioned at meeting
Middletown officials heard that the county Board of Education may be underestimating the number of students for the proposed new elementary school. The committee chair said 466 students are expected at opening in about three years, while the regional plan anticipates more families later. The board may revisit size during design. The article also notes annexation decisions, property interest for a school site, and a water/sewer expansion linked to a future cellular antenna contract.
