Paris reports scientists discuss an account by Compte Leonce de Larmardie of three French savants who allegedly revived a girl in Versailles after she appeared dead. The patient described a cold, distant consciousness and a post revival struggle as physicians used hypnosis and electricity before the effort failed.
Two Chinese men Mock Kung and Jung Jow were executed at Mora prison for a July 4, 1908 riot in Race Street colony that left one dead and another wounded.
