Mrs Swenson, wife of the United Sites minister to Denmark, is a prominent figure in Copenhagen diplomatic society. She is young and attractive and a great favorite. Minister Swenson, a native of New Sweden Minnesota, serves as dean of the diplomatic corps in Copenhagen.
The Gerown National Bank directors adopt a resolution charging a 660 deficit in the government reserve fund to profit and loss. They say the shortage was covered from profits and books are straightened, admit no present chance to recover the money, and vow continued search for the thief. Vice President Fairbanks has appointed his son Fred C. Fairbanks as private secretary after Princeton 1903 graduation.

Passenger train No 6 eastbound on the Philadelphia and Erie railroad crashed into a light engine near Pittsburg wrecking both engines and jamming cars with force. The cause is reported as a stopped watch carried by engineer Moran. Found in Potters Field Savannah: Jacob Zucker reports his son Morris Archer buried after stowaway incident aboard a steamer. The boy’s body was recovered and to be exhumed for burial in New York.
