Carroll County to sign CATV pact Tuesday in Westminster
After snow delays, Carroll County and Prestige Cable Television plan to sign a 25 year franchise on Tuesday March 13 at 3 30 PM in the county office building Westminster. Officials cite minor housekeeping items and absence of county attorney in Annapolis as reasons for the delay. Prestige President Grady Ireland remains hopeful the deal will advance and notes expected service could begin by late summer with about 45000 subscribers and typical monthly charges around two dollars.
