Prospect Hall Named From St John’s St Joseph’s Move to Independence

Gun Toter Nabbed At Hotel
An out of state man Benjamin L Stearns 71 Pomona Calif was arrested in the Francis Scott Key Hotel lobby for carrying a concealed pistol in a holster. Major Charles V Main and Pvt James Bohrer seized a loaded pistol from his hotel room and he is held on 1060 bail awaiting March 14 District Court hearing. Mrs Agnew arrived about an hour after the arrest and was the guest of honor at a Red Cross luncheon.
