Baltimore reports Attorney General Hall Hammond ruled that distribution percentages under the Sherbon Act apply to all income tax receipts after July 3 1947. City budget director Herbert Fall says the ruling may mean an extra about 490 000 to 500 000 for Baltimore. The new rate raises the city’s share from 0.5 percent to 0.625 percent of taxable income.
