Smithsburg MD March 8 AP deep in the Western Maryland foothills Cecil Martin 21 says he longs for a college education and a good job He began writing at 12 and by 13 finished a 51 stanza poem The Middletown High School graduate 1932 then worked and studied hoping for an opportunity to attend college and pursue writing as he calls it the noblest pursuit of a man.
