Johns Hopkins advanced by beating Hampden Sydney 66 59 to reach the semifinals joining Randolph Macon and American University. American U routed Towson State Teachers 57 28 while Randolph Macon beat Catholic U 51. Loyola led 29 32 at halftime and 98 73 final.
