South Market Street bridge to close for Carroll Creek work
Frederick officials say the Carroll Creek Project will close the South Market Street bridge next week for about two months as crews remove the bridge and install two large conduits. South Market Street between All Saint's Street and Citizen's Way will shut while detours direct northbound traffic via All Saint's to Carroll and East Patrick or to South Court and West Patrick. City engineers urge nonessential downtown travel and note South Court Street bridge reopened with temporary paving Thursday after June closure.
