Stab Woman to Death Near Rockefeller Estate in Tarrytown
In North Tarrytown near John P. Rockefeller’s estate a young woman was found murdered with the jugular vein severed and the left throat deeply gashed. Police theorize she was killed and the body discarded in the street, possibly from an automobile, as late hours prevented lifting. Separately, fossil elephant remains were found in Texas, suggesting these animals roamed the region about 600,000 years ago.
