Guinea-Fowl Escapes On North Market Street
A guinea fowl caused a stir on North Market street as it broke from Braddock resident Lemuel Wiles and flew to a telephone cable in front of D Q Charles Winebrewer's wholesale house. Wiles and young John Qayne pursued the bird, and after two shots it fell onto a house roof and was captured alive. Both shots were credited with striking the fowl, and it was not dead when removed from the roof.
