Mt Airy Group backs Central site for eastern high school
Mt Airy residents urged Frederick County commissioners to respect the school board and designate the Central site for a new eastern high school. They argued the central location equalizes travel for rural students, has state approval, and would support a larger, better staffed school. The group cited three approvals by the school board and emphasized equal opportunity and broader curricular options.
