Milk Production Set for Big Business Growth
Andrew W. Gribble Jr. of Agpro Inc told a Frederick Lions Club luncheon that milk production will become big business as population rises and per capita shopping lists grow. He noted the dairy herd has stayed roughly stable while far fewer people milk cows, predicting higher milk prices and mass production. Gribble described shifts to larger herds, with 500 cows or more as a practical unit, and highlighted Agpro’s manure flush system for cleaning large barns and parlor effluent.
