Dr Burgess of Ridgefield Connecticut was named county health officer to succeed the late Dr Easterday. He will train two to three months in public health work before assuming duties here and will also serve as city health officer. Jonkel a Chicago public relations man testified he received 1250 a month for campaign work and faced questions about campaign literature.
