Judge Overrules Minor Point in Nursing Home Zoning Case
A Carroll County Circuit Judge overruled a technical objection in a petition opposing an 80 bed nursing home on Gist Road. The Board of Zoning Appeals had granted a conditional use permit to Raymond, Frank, and Herbert Damazo on October 8. The residents argued the objection was untimely, but the judge said the point appeared minor and allowed 15 days for further comments. The case traces back to August 1966 and February 1968 rulings, with a recent board decision on October 6.
