Frederick County property tax notices were sent to about 67 000 taxpayers. Treasurer Martha Brittain said bills, prepared by computer, will be mailed today and most residents should receive them Friday. The rate remains 2.26 dollars per 100 of assessed value plus a state 21 cent per 100 tax and area fire district levies. The county expects about 93 million dollars in tax revenue this year.
