Endowment Gift From Rockefeller to Yale Reported
Yale announces a Rockefeller gift of 1 million dollars to the university and notes 2 million in new subscriptions from graduates and others. The funds are to be invested in income-producing securities and used for current expenses, with aim to double the endowment next year. President Hadley says donors’ names for the graduate gifts were not released.
