Campaign strategy unsettled for Young Orlinsky candidacy
Mayor Ronald N. Young outlined a still unsettled campaign plan for his governor bid with Wallace Orlinsky. He promised to fund much of the effort personally, use modest campaign expenses, and avoid relying on polls while focusing work in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties and rural areas. He defended campaigning while in office, said staff would run city operations in his absence, and discussed transit plans including a new bus line offset by a small deficit.
