Two-Arrest Drugged Night Sparks City Disturbance
A dispute over a two dollar bill led to the arrest of Albert Smith and Charles Devoe after a manhunt on West All Saints Street. Smith is charged with drunkenness and disorderly conduct. Devoe faces a liquor selling charge. Both await hearings before Magistrate Motter. Also, three other men were jailed for disturbing the peace after arrests at South Market Street. A later note announces a tribal picnic planning by the Tri-State League at Brunswick City Park with committees formed to organize the event.
