Damascus High Budget Reinstates Rejected Items
Montgomery County School Facilities Director Lester J. Welch presented Damascus High School’s capital program for the next fiscal year to the Board of Education. Six items previously rejected in July 1964 for lack of funds are back. The plan adds a 70 car parking extension near the new cafeteria, grading for a new rear baseball field on the 28 acre site, and a quarter mile all weather running track among other upgrades.

In Montgomery County the school board plans a gymnas ium upgrade adding stage switchboard feeder lines lighting and sound systems to be completed with October 1964 bid items. If funds allow three tennis courts would be surfaced and fenced. Missing man feared drowned after boat found ashore at Well's Point
