Three honored for service in Montgomery County youth work
Joy G. Schwab of Damascus received a special recognition award from Montgomery County's Commission on Children and Youth for long time service as a 4 H volunteer and Laytonsville Elementary School teacher. Gaithersburg High School junior Marc DiGiovanni earned the 1989 Nancy Dworkin Award for Outstanding Service to Youth for leading Key Club projects including a foster children party and visits to seniors. Glenn Rattman of Gaithersburg also received a special award for his youth sports program involvement in Montgomery Village.
