Memorial visit from New Zealand father to son grave in Miami

An elderly New Zealand father, Denis McLean, visits his son Lieutenant Daniel McLean’s grave at Opa-Locka Navy Air Station, sprinkling home dirt on the plot and planning a Maori inscribed marker. He traveled from Wairoa with his wife, who died before the voyage, to honor the fallen airman and said this would be his last visit. The story closes with a note that the Denver Bears will play three basketball games in Grand Junction while their park is used by Billy Graham.
