Supreme Concrete Block Products Inc of Hagerstown plans a concrete block plant with 25 to 30 workers and a large 150 by 100 foot building, aiming to be a major operation for the Frederick plant. The Penn Del Corporation still owns the lot, bounded by local firms and farms, totaling over 10 acres, formerly used by the Pennsylvania Railroad for coal locomotives. Construction could begin soon after zoning and plat approval.

One Killed Five Hurt In Crisfield Car Wreck
Coast Guardsman Arthur Wesley McKowen 20 of Kansas City Missouri was killed when his northbound car crashed head on with an opposite vehicle on Route 413 one and a half miles north of Crisfield Maryland. Five others were injured and hospitalized at McCready Memorial Hospital. The other driver Joe Gray 28 of Bayview Virginia and his passengers were treated for injuries.

Summer School Opens at College Park With 3094 Enrollees
