Board member wins variance to build in flood plain
The Lewistown board grants a variance to a member for a 10 acre flood plain property with up to eight lots. Construction must meet elevation and lot existence rules, with the zoning administrator confirming at least one usable lot per structure. Opposition cites irregular discourse and a member calling it a bad investment.
