Catch-22 claim denied in rubble fill case
The Frederick County Board of Zoning Appeals denied claims of administrative error blocking C John Eyler's permit for a rubble landfill on 203 acres near Chestnut Grove Road. They found no error in the zoning change request or site plan after 40 minutes of discussion, amid applause from supporters. The case highlighted a contested land clearing permit intertwined with state approval and groundwater permit questions.
