Maryland winemakers boycott Annapolis wine festival over terms
Maryland winemakers from Boordy Vineyards and others oppose the festival’s layout and costs. They object to rent for stalls and no reimbursement for samples, while out of state producers would join. Organizers say 11 Maryland winemakers dispute 18 invited out-of-state vintners and competition concerns. The July 25 26 event may shift from Maryland‑only to include micro brewers and external entries.
