Kickapoo Longhouse Powwow Camp West Mar Camp
Nearly 200 fathers and sons from 11 tribes of the Kickapoo Longhouse YMCA gathered at Camp West Mar in Frederick County for the annual spring camp-out. Rainy weather shifted plans to indoor campfire where Ray Moses was named Chief, with Sunday including chapel and a scavenger hunt. The YMCA, a United Way agency, seeks funds for a gymnasium and fitness center at its North Market Street building.
