Fifteen Hurt In Church Bus Auto Collision On U S 40A
Fifteen persons were injured when a South End Baptist Church bus returning from a Washington Monument State Park retreat collided with a car on U S 40A near South Mountain. The bus swerved after brakes allegedly failed, struck a telephone pole, and ended against an embankment. Several victims were treated and released. seven year old Matthew Beard remained under observation in fair condition.
