Soviet Communique Urges Second Front This Year
On the second anniversary of the German invasion, the Soviet Information Bureau broadcast called for a second front this year to hasten victory. It claimed Allied strength is rising, German losses mount, and Soviet morale and industry are strengthened as the Allies aid with material support.
