Charles Edwin Kemp, co proprietor of Gem Steam Laundry and former clerk to the mayor and aldermen, died at his West College Terrace home at nine this morning from pneumonia following a period of summer grippe. A longtime resident and active in Columbia Lodge and local clubs, he was 54 and survived by his widow and mother.
