Maryland town council approves large operating fund transfers
Aldermen in New Midway on Md 194 unanimously approved more than 600000 in transfers to clear the books before the June 30 fiscal year end. The move included 300000 to the Weinberg Center for the Arts and 110000 for sinkhole repairs, with 281000 shifted from the emergency fund to general operations.
