City Board Awards Police Uniforms and Water Works Contracts
The city awarded uniforms to the Young Men's Shop at 26.50 per suit after bids from Kemp and Michael Co. and accepted a plan to repaint City Hall among five bidders. A 18 inch water pipe contract went to U O Cast Iron Pipe and Foundry, with Whitman Requardt and Smith recommending the bid as best. A curb and gutter job on East Patrick street won by Frank Foland at 49 cents per lineal foot, with Nusz and Sons the runner. An audit of books by Ira L. Miller was ordered.
