Youth Injured After Auto Struck by Western Maryland Train
Harry Crumpacker eighteen son of Edward Crumpacker a Carroll county farmer was seriously injured Tuesday when his automobile was struck by a Western Maryland passenger train at a crossing half a mile from Union Bridge. He was placed on a Pullman car and taken to Union Memory Hospital Baltimore unconscious after being hurled against a telegraph pole. The car wreckage filled with debris, the train crew aiding the victim. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
