Juvenile drug peddlers raise alarms in Frederick scene
Frederick County officials report a growing number of juveniles from New York City and Washington, D C selling crack cocaine in Frederick. About 34 youths have been arrested this year, mostly males, with many traveling by bus or taxi to sell drugs and earn money. Weekend storm brings light rain and crowds to Baker Park pool

Frederick County closes schools Tuesday with three hours early dismissal for students as the 1990 91 year ends. Summer programs begin July 2 and run through August 16 at multiple elementary sites with 25 dollar fees. Middle level courses July 7 to August 7 at West Frederick Middle cost 35 per course. High school sessions run June 27 to August 8 at Frederick High or other sites with 70 per course. Youthful violator detained again by Frederick police
A 17 year old was hauled to Frederick City Police headquarters for a curfew arrest near John Hanson Apartments on North Bentz Street.
