Bloodmobile visit yields 97 units for Frederick County drive
The Red Cross Bloodmobile at Moose Lodge on June 4 collected 7 units of blood from 103 donors. Five deferred, one unsuccessful, 35 scheduled and 6 walk-ins. James A. Grove chaired the effort with Frderick County Red Cross Steering noting a potential year-end shortfall. Local groups earning credits included Airpax and American Legion posts, with donors sharing gallons of blood and volunteers aiding in transport, refreshments, and meals.
