Reagan Defends Economic Plan Amid Tax Debate
Reagan responded at a news conference that his economic program targets the middle class burdened by big government and high taxes. He said the 10,000 to 50,000 to 360,000 income bracket covers most middle earners who pay the majority of taxes and receive tax relief. ONeill later said he would never attack the president and hopes the president shows him respect.
