Bicentennial Wagon Train to Camp at Thurmont Eyler Road Park
Forty three wagons part of the five segment Bicentennial Pilgrimage will encamp at Eyler Road Recreation Park in Thurmont for one night around 4 pm on Thursday June 24 en route to a July 3 Valley Forge rendezvous. The Wilderness Route segment began in Houston Shreveport and Orlando and will reach Valley Forge for a two month stay. The event is an official Bicentennial Commission Pennsylvania project with endosement by AB A and features a Penn State Wagon Train Show each night. Public may observe encampment rituals around 3 pm.
