Holding Foe at Czernowitz
Berlin reports Austrian troops in Bukowina hold Czernowitz and stop Russian advances to the east. Vienna’s June 14 official says no major events beyond Pri Pet region. Russian attacks repulsed. Delayed June 11 report claims 1500 Russians and thirteen machine guns captured June 10 after three Russian regiments crossed the Styr near Kolki and were driven back. Also: near Tarnopol, a recaptured height and repulsed Russian attacks near Przewolka.
