Funeral for Roscoe P Brown Held After Suicide
The funeral for former County Commissioner Roscoe P. Brown, who shot himself in the city last week, was held Monday morning with private services at 10 o'clock at the funeral home of M. L. Creager and on Thurmont. Reverend Mr. Huddle of Smithsburg led the services. Pallbearers included Hugh Eby, Emory Visotzkey, Samuel Long, Samuel Dennett, Clyde Young and Charles Balding. Interment followed at Blue Ridge Cemetery.
