New Park Named for Mullinix by City Aldermen
The Board of Aldermen unanimously passed a resolution naming Mullinix Park on the north side of West All Saints Street for Lorenzo E. Mullinix, who served on the Board 1919 1928 and as president 1922 1928. A fountain in Baker Park will be named the Culler Memorial Fountain in honor of Mayor Lloyd Culler and Anne Rebecca Culler, with inscriptions to be placed after city acquisition. Ordinance amended to permit fireworks sales June 22 to July 4 and the July 4 usage from 7 a m to 10 p m. Election expenses for three city supervisors and city attorney were reduced to 100 dollars and clerk to 75 dollars, totals 1958.75, ordered paid.
