Samples shipped to Gallagher Offices show smooth white stone with Tuscan-like color suitable for sculptors. Quarries appear virtually unlimited though some blemish and colored veins exist. The firm supplies stone for the Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore and believes the deposits could rival Italian marble. Gallagher praises potential wealth below ground and suggests copper may exist along the line in western Maryland.
