Man Dies In Crash On I 70 Near Md 80
A 32 year old Landover Hills man, Raymond Richard Hostetter, died in a fiery crash on I 70 just north of Md 80 at about 8 pm Saturday. His 1969 Chevrolet pickup, reportedly traveling at high speed, ran off the roadway struck a bridge abutment and exploded. the truck was destroyed and Hostetter was ejected. Police noted seatbelt use could not be determined due to the wreck.

Joy-riding vandals damaged the Key Chevrolet Sales and Service garage Sunday night, tearing a hole in the rear door and hitting a pickup. Frederick to Open Three Teen Centers This Summer
Frederick plans three teen centers at Thomas Johnson High, West Frederick Junior High, and the Frederick Community College basement. Over 1,800 residents and visitors celebrated Frederick's 225 years with pageants, displays, and music. The week featured tours of historic homes, a Black History Exhibit, and a two night performance of Fredericktowne 1745 1970. Crowds and out of town guests attended events and the final day included a K 9 dog show in Baker Park.

Policeman Charged In Wreck After Motter Avenue Crash
