The Diet Workshop held its annual Wild Weekend luncheon and fashion show to mark its 20th year. Sharon Dominic lost 55 pounds, Mary Kraft 53 pounds, and Betty Smith 86 pounds. The three models combined shed nearly 3,000 pounds.
Project Forward Step at Frederick Community College will host two information workshops on Non Traditional Careers for Women. On June 25 and June 27 in Sneadner Hall the events cover Women in Apprenticeship Programs and Women in High Tech Occupations with speakers from Frederick County Board of Education Associated Building Contractors Inc Draftnet COMSAT Labs and FCC faculty. The YMCA announces summer fitness programs running June 24 through August 3 with various locations and air conditioned venues.
