Loveless to stand trial again in Maryland case
Maryland Court of Special Appeals ruled Mabel Darcel Loveless must stand trial a second time for allegedly luring her 15 year old lover to murder her husband. A prior mistrial arose from a police comment about a polygraph operator, not double jeopardy. Loveless, 23 at the time, offered $1000 for a dune buggy to the youth who killed her husband.
