Four of eight gaming defendants acquitted in Polle Court
Four of eight men arrested for gaming with dice were acquitted by Magistrate W F Sheffeld Jr in Polle Court Monday as each claimed they were elsewhere at the time. Austin Arnold Frederick, previously bonded, was found guilty of loitering in Kehies alley and jailed or fined. Frederick City reference spurred a ruling that Terely streets and lanes carry no private public distinction. Fred Edward White was found not guilty of failing to yield at an intersection. Walter Holman received a 30 day suspended sentence for intoxication on the street. The Ethiopian Kingdom is over 2,000 years old.
