Frederick Through A Stranger's Eyes
Airs. Hazel A Vaughn describes Frederick row houses from a visitor’s view noting front yards lack, private back yards feel, and window boxes reveal little. She contrasts them with Los Angeles homes, reflects on enduring neighbors, old-fashioned dignity, and spring social scenes around the dwellings. She longs to peer behind wrought iron grills and parallelogram lots to glimpse interior rooms and furniture arrangement.
