Menfelt to host first horse trials in Frederick County
Frederick County will host the inaugural Menfelt Horse Trials at the new Menfelt Show and Conference Facility on Masser Road. More than 200 riders will compete in dressage, stadium jumping, and cross country, with renowned course designer Denis Glaccum shaping the cross country layout. The not for profit Menfelt is backed by Woodvale Farms owners Mike and Dale Clabaugh and aims to boost Maryland's $1.6 billion horse industry while seeking sponsors and long term support.
