Cable firms agree to wider access after probe settlement
New York Attorney General Robert Abrams announced a 40 state settlement with major cable firms over alleged anti competitive practices. The deal requires equal access to popular channels for rival wireless and microwave services and includes a $475 million payment with $1 million to New York.
