Outdoor learning stations bring science to Frederick County students
Roy Okan, supervisor of elementary schools science for Frederick County, led a project where fourth to sixth graders studied their surroundings at school grounds through learning stations. Using common lab tools, students tested hypotheses, observed plant and animal behavior, and evaluated experiences with evident enthusiasm and focus.

Carroll Co Plans Camp Season for Youths
Carroll County outlines a series of camp programs for girls and boys from kindergarten through senior high age.
